Throughout his career, he has developed a versatile approach to chiropractic care, incorporating techniques such as Diversified, Thompson, and Activator, along with other methods to address the spine and joints.

His background in physical education, combined with a lifelong passion for movement, has shaped Dr. Matheson’s appreciation for the role an active lifestyle can play in overall health and well-being. An enthusiast of physical culture, he enjoys exploring the many forms of fitness and brings that same curiosity to his professional perspective. His own commitment to staying active complements his extensive clinical experience and creates a natural connection with patients who value mobility, physical activity, and lifelong wellness.

At HillStar Integrated Health, Dr. Matheson brings his depth of clinical experience to a collaborative team committed to thoughtful, individualised care. Working alongside professionals across multiple areas of healthcare, he values the opportunity to contribute his perspective while drawing on the collective expertise of the team to support each patient’s health, mobility, and long-term well-being.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Matheson enjoys cooking, coffee, tattoos, and travelling. He has spent many years developing his handstand skills and continues to embrace new challenges, with riding a unicycle next on his list. His curiosity, love of movement, and willingness to embrace new challenges are a natural extension of the philosophy he brings to his practice.
